The only epic keycard on Riven Tides
The Port Authority Building at the harbour
Where the card drops. No fixed spawn, same as every key, but epic rarity shows. It is the rarest and least commonly reported key on Riven Tides. It comes from the shared loot pool, skewing toward security and higher tier containers, and it can be pulled off another raider who got luckier than you. No drop rate exists for it. Safe Pocket it the second it appears.
It was added in patch 1.26.0, the same update that shipped Riven Tides itself.
Where the door is. Port Authority Building, on the northern side of the map at the harbour, on the top floor. One route reported by players: enter via the ladder on the east side, through the door at the top, then take the left staircase upward. At the top of that staircase are the two heavy doors into Classified Records.
That is where this key gets unusual. Secure Storage is a locked room inside a locked room. The entrance is not on a corridor. It is inside Classified Records, which needs its own separate Classified Records Keycard to open, plus the security pad step with the red lights next to the doors.
The top floor Secure Storage room
The Secure Storage room, one door, one entry, and then the card is gone.
Practically, that means a two card sequence in one visit:
- Open one of the two heavy industrial doors into Classified Records with the Classified Records Keycard, then hit the security pad with the red lights to actually move the door.
- Clear Classified Records, which is where the turret, the cameras and most of the Shredders are.
- Find the Secure Storage door inside, and spend the epic card on it.
Both cards are consumed.
The best single room on the map
Here is where we stop and say what we do not know.
There is no reliable published manifest for Secure Storage. It is high value, and every source agrees on that, but nobody has produced a repeatable container list the way they have for Classified Records. We are not going to invent one.
What does exist is anecdote. One guide's example raid reports the two rooms combined yielding a Bobcat, a Torrente, a Rascal grenade launcher, three Arpeggios and a pile of resources, with the author extracting with a haul they valued above seventy thousand. That is one player, one run, on a randomised loot table, and it counts the Classified Records haul in the same total. Read it as an indication of ceiling rather than an expectation.
What is defensible: this is the only epic keycard on the map, and it is buried behind another locked room in the most contested building on Riven Tides. Everything about its placement says the reward is meant to match.
Top floor, one stairwell, plan the exit
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Rarity | Epic, the only one on Riven Tides |
| Building | Port Authority Building, top floor, northern harbour |
| Door | Secure Storage, entrance inside the Classified Records room |
| Requires | A Classified Records Keycard as well |
| Verdict | Go, but only with both cards and a plan for the turret |
Yes, when you have both cards. No, when you only have this one.
An epic key you cannot reach is worth nothing, and the Port Authority is not a building you want to be standing in while you work that out.
With both, this is the highest ceiling run on Riven Tides. You clear the best documented container room on the map on the way in, then open the only epic gated room behind it, in one visit, for two single use cards.
Preparation people who run this recommend: something for the turret, lure grenades to pull roaming Shredders off you, and door blockers so the fight you started does not follow you in. You will be stationary in a contested building for a while.

Frequently asked questions
- Where do you use the Riven Tides Secure Storage Keycard?
- On the Secure Storage room on the top floor of the Port Authority Building at the northern harbour of Riven Tides. Its entrance is inside the Classified Records room, so you cannot reach it without opening that room first.
- Do I need two keycards to reach Secure Storage?
- Yes. You need a Classified Records Keycard for the outer heavy industrial doors, plus the security pad with the red lights to open them, and then the epic Secure Storage Keycard for the inner door. Both are consumed.
- What loot is in the Secure Storage room?
- There is no reliable published container list for it, and we are not going to invent one. One guide reports a combined haul from both rooms including a Bobcat, a Torrente, a Rascal grenade launcher and three Arpeggios on a single run, but loot is randomised and that total includes Classified Records.
- How rare is the Secure Storage Keycard?
- It is epic, the only epic keycard on Riven Tides, and it was added in patch 1.26.0 alongside the map. It is the least commonly reported key on the map and there is no published drop rate for it.
- What should I bring for the Port Authority run?
- Something for the turret covering the Classified Records approach, lure grenades for the roaming Shredders, and door blockers so a fight does not follow you into the room. The Port Authority is one of the most contested areas on Riven Tides.
