Two doors into one room
The middle southern building of the Stacking Yard
Where the card drops. No fixed spawn. It rolls from the shared loot pool like every key, with the usual bias toward residential, commercial and security containers, and it comes off other raiders. It is reported most often on Riven Tides but drops elsewhere too. No drop rate has been published.
A rarity note, since sources disagree. Our card badge and several community listings put this at common. The ARC Raiders wiki and op.gg both list it as uncommon. It changes nothing about how the key behaves, but you will see both quoted.
Where the door is. The Stacking Yard is the container yard at the harbour, the area covered end to end in stacked shipping containers. Three buildings sit in it. You want the middle southern one, the crane with the operator cabin at the top.
The route, in order:
- Climb the ladder on the building. There are ladders on either side.
- Get inside the crane control room at the top.
- Once inside, turn left and face the opposite side of the control room. The doors are there.
There is also a zipline running up through the centre of the building that puts you at cabin level in a few seconds, which is by far the fastest way up if you can reach its start at the south end. The cranes themselves are climbable too, if you like risk.
The crane control room, and both ways in
Two doors, one room. Both entrances lead into the same space, so whichever one you get to first is the right one and the card is not wasted picking wrong.
The card's description places it at the middle Crane House on Riven Tides, which is the useful detail: there is more than one crane in the yard and only the middle one has the locked cabin.
What the crane house holds
A mid tier haul, and it is worth being straight about that.
Reports describe a weapon, a couple of attachments, crafting materials and occasionally a gear piece, with Breach Tech containers and a chance at blueprints. Some listings talk it up harder. It is not a Classified Records tier room and not a Room 208 tier clear. It is a small cabin with a modest container count.
The Stacking Yard is a medium loot area and it is patrolled. Containers and dock structures give cover, and you want it, because the ladder climb is exposed.
The real value is where the room is, not what is in it. The crane sits right next to a Raider Hatch, with the Seaside Elevator evac as the backup if the hatch is not available. You can swipe the card, strip the cabin and be extracting inside a minute. Nothing else on Riven Tides puts a locked room that close to a guaranteed way out.
A common key with an uncommon layout
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Rarity | Listed as common on some sources, uncommon on the wiki and op.gg |
| Area | Stacking Yard, harbour, gold outlined on our map crop |
| Door | Two doors into one room, middle southern building, crane control room |
| Contents | Mid tier, weapon and attachments, materials, Breach Tech |
| Verdict | The best end of raid key on the map |
Yes, but spend it at the right moment.
On loot alone this is a middling card and there are better rooms on Riven Tides. On position it is the smartest key to be holding when your bag is nearly full and your timer is running down. You climb, open, fill the last few slots, drop to the hatch. There is almost no window where you are carrying a full bag with nowhere to go.
The opposite is also true: spending it at the start of a raid throws away the one thing that makes the card special, which is being next to an extract exactly when you need one.
Save it for the back half of the raid, and get up there on the zipline rather than the ladder if the yard looks occupied.

Frequently asked questions
- Where do you use the Riven Tides Crane House Keycard?
- At the Stacking Yard by the harbour on Riven Tides, in the middle southern building. Climb the ladder, get inside the crane control room, then turn left and face the opposite side of the room to find the doors.
- Why are there two Crane House doors?
- Both doors lead into the same loot room, so it does not matter which one you reach first and you only spend one card. The description places the door at the middle Crane House, which is the only crane in the yard with a locked cabin.
- Is there a faster way up than the ladder?
- Yes. A zipline runs up through the centre of the building from the south end and puts you at cabin level in a few seconds. Ladders on either side and the cranes themselves also work, but the zipline is fastest and keeps you off the exposed climb.
- What rarity is the Crane House Keycard?
- Sources disagree. Several community listings show it as common, while the ARC Raiders wiki and op.gg both list it as uncommon. It behaves identically either way, so it only matters if you are cataloguing a stash.
- When should I spend the Crane House Keycard?
- Late in a raid. The loot inside is mid tier, but the room sits beside a Raider Hatch with the Seaside Elevator evac as backup, so you can fill your last bag slots and extract within about a minute. Opening it early throws away that advantage.
