Overview

Dam Battlegrounds is centered around the Alcantara hydroelectric complex. Tight corridors, flooded chambers, and vertical catwalks create varied engagement distances. The map features white, orange, and red loot zones with the Control Tower and Hydroponic Dome being key high value areas. Available immediately with no unlock requirement.

Loot Strategy

Start at lower risk areas like Testing Annex or Pale Apartments for initial supplies. The Control Tower has weapon crate spawns across multiple floors, with the Dam Surveillance Room behind a locked door offering guaranteed crate spawns. Hydroponic Dome Complex has many weapon crate spawns but is heavily contested. Red Lakes in the southeast is the highest risk, highest reward area.

Extraction

Four extraction points are available: Water Treatment (south), Swampside Elevator, Red Lakes Balcony Lift (stays open longest), and North Complex Elevator (generally safest with less traffic). Plan your route to end near an extraction point.

Extraction points

North Complex Elevator: Northern extraction point. Generally the safest option with less foot traffic than southern extracts.
Sunroof Hatch: Hatch extraction at Ben Welder's Sunroof in the north west.
Pump House Hatch: Hatch extraction on the far eastern edge, south of East Broken Bridge.
Central Swamp Lift: Lift extraction in the western swamp, north of Water Treatment Control.
Water Treatment: Massive industrial zone that doubles as a major extraction point. Highly profitable but dangerous due to heavy traffic. Controls water flow for the entire dam complex.
Spillway Hatch: Hatch extraction on the eastern side, north of Electrical Tower.
Water Treatment Elevator: Elevator extraction beside Water Treatment Control.
Dead Old Baron's Hatch: Hatch extraction in the south west, west of Electrical Substation.
Red Lakes Balcony Lift: Southeastern extraction that stays open longest of all four extract points. Exposed position but reliable escape route.

Locked doors

Dam Surveillance Room: Inside the Control Tower, requires key access. Guaranteed weapon crate spawn makes this one of the most valuable locked rooms on any map.
Dam Control Tower Key: Key spawn marked beside the Control Tower. Opens the Dam Surveillance Room.
Dam Staff Room Key: Key spawn marked between the Control Tower and Research and Administration.
Dam Testing Annex Key: Key spawn marked at the southern edge of the Testing Annex compound.

Loot locations

West Broken Bridge: Bridge crossing on the northern edge of the map, above Pattern House.
Pattern House: Structure in the far north, between West Broken Bridge and the Generator Hall complex.
Ruby Residence: Northern residence, north east of Pale Apartments.
Generator Hall: Cavernous hall housing massive generators. Loot spawns on catwalks above and in maintenance tunnels below. Sound echoes badly here.
Raider Outpost East: Outpost on the eastern side of the northern industrial block.
Pale Apartments: Residential complex on the eastern outskirts. Commercial loot alongside Electrical and Mechanical components. Less contested than central POIs.
Power Generation Complex: Main power facility with dense loot tables. ARC Alloy, ARC components, and weapon attachments throughout. Heavy ARC patrols around the turbine banks.
Ben Welder's Sunroof: North west building with its own hatch, south of Pale Apartments.
Controlled Access Zone: Marked access zone between Power Generation Complex and Pipeline Tower. Added in the version 1.0.4 map update.
East Broken Bridge: Bridge crossing on the eastern edge of the map.
Hydroponic Dome Complex: Many potential weapon crate spawns making this a warzone. Nature, Industrial, and Security loot categories. Best to go here last if still unlooted.
Pipeline Tower: Tower east of the Controlled Access Zone, on the way to East Broken Bridge.
The Breach: Opening in the dam wall north of the Floodgates.
Old Battleground: Open ground on the western side, north of South Swamp Outpost.
Floodgates: The dam's floodgates, on the central spine between The Breach and Primary Facility.
South Swamp Outpost: Southern outpost with weapon crate potential in the domes. Many medical supplies and field crate unlock locations scattered around.
Primary Facility: Central facility beside the Control Tower and Water Treatment Control.
Control Tower: Central command structure with multiple floors. Tons of loot at the bottom, keys can spawn here. Five potential weapon crate spawns at the top. The Dam Surveillance Room inside requires key access for a guaranteed weapon crate.
Research & Administration: Commercial and Technological loot with weapon cases on the second floor. Well-stocked building complex in the northern section.
Small Creek: Creek running through the centre south, between Research and Administration and the Wreckage.
Electrical Substation: Substation in the south west, north of the Water Towers.
Electrical Tower: Tower on the eastern side, east of Testing Annex.
Water Towers: Water towers on the south western approach.
Testing Annex: Central testing facility with moderate loot availability. Good staging area before pushing into higher tier zones.
Wreckage: Wreck field in the south, east of Scrap Yard.
Scrap Yard: Scrap yard in the south of the map, north of Formical Outpost.
Formical Outpost: Southernmost marked outpost on the map.

ARC spawns

Red Lakes: Southeastern region with the Harvester puzzle location and Queen ARC encounters. Extremely dangerous but drops the best ARC components on the map.
